School Election Results
Fri 13 Dec 2019The results of the 2019 school election are now in! Bucking the national trend, Labour were the run away winners on 135 votes. Children from across the school were invited to vote at the Polling Station in the library. Mr Anderson and Mr Armstrong talked to the children about why we hold an election and how it is part of our democratic process in the country! The children were particularly interested in the Labour promise of free internet for all!

Cyber Cafe
Mon 02 Dec 2019Cyber CaféThank you to those parents who attended the cyber café on Monday 02.12.19 with Mr Milum.At the Cyber Café, parents and children learnt how to create and maintain an e-safe environment at home. You can find some of the information below:What you can do to create an e-safe environment at home:
-Parent controls and locks on all devices;
-Time limits (not 30 mins before bed);
-Age restricted games and apps/websites;
-Technology only to be used in shared space, not bedrooms;
-Parents check apps and messages;
-Have a conversation with children about what to do if something online worries them at home and use the Netaware website for advise https://www.net-aware.org.uk/tips-and-advice/.

Look out for the next Cyber Café for families and children to learn the basics in coding.
