Welcome to Churchfield Nursery!

Churchfield Nursery is the beginning of your child's education journey. This is where our youngest children experience the love of learning fostered through exciting play based opportunities, enabling environments and experiences in the wider community. Churchfield Nursery are part of the education provision of Churchfield School and belongs to the Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust. 

Churchfield Nursery operates both term time and all year round making it a flexible provision for all family dynamics. The Nursery operates from as early as 7:30 am and our last session ends at 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. We are of course willing and flexible to support the community and welcome suggestions from parents to ensure our operating hours are suitable for you into the future.

Churchfield Nursery are a play based and child centred Nursery provision, where we ensure your child is supported to reach their full potential and have all the opportunities they need to thrive. The Nursery believes children must have the opportunity to explore the world around them and have as much outdoor experiences as possible. We are very fortunate to be part of a wider School community with large grounds to explore every day!

Nursery Sessions

We have many nursery sessions to choose from, to ensure we have something suitable for all families. Our sessions are:

7:30 am - 8:30 am

8:30 am - 11:30 am

11:30 am - 14:30 pm

15:00 pm - 16:00 pm

16:00 pm - 17:00 pm

The sessions above are pick and mix sessions that can be used to create either short nursery sessions or longer days that are flexible to your needs.

Fees

Fees from July 2023:

Babies Under two's provision £5.65 an hour

Nursery 2's provision £5.55 an hour

Preschool provision £5.50 an hour

Payment

Invoices are issued through the Nursery Famly software and payments can be made through the School's Parent Pay system. Voucher and other Government payment schemes are accepted. 

Parent Pay

Parent Pay is the School and Nursery payment system that allows you to be able to do the following:

Pay for School Dinners – View menus. You need to book and pay in advance.

Pay for Trips – Pay for nursery trips through ParentPay. 

Nursery Fees - Pay for Nursery fees 

Payment Options – Debit and credit cards, American Express and PayPoint from over 28,000 shops across the country
