Churchfield Church School is a 12‑class primary school with a mixed‑age structure in some year groups. This approach allows us to balance class sizes, support children’s social development, and deliver a carefully planned curriculum that ensures consistency for every child.

Understanding Mixed‑Age Classes

Because some classes contain two year groups, your child may spend two consecutive years in the same classroom. This is a normal part of our structure and is fully supported by our curriculum design.
