Why have rules powerpoint
What are responsibilities?
Do you have any responsibilities at home and if so what are they?
Maybe you are responsible for a pet, or making your bed or helping with a job? Can you remember what your class job was?
See if you can record your responsibilities here is an example.
This session is all about taking turns.
Play games with someone at home, ideas are:
Snakes and ladders
This session is about 'Lending and borrowing / Sharing and caring'
Sharing is caring is a motto we use at school.
Talk about respecting other people's processions if we have borrowed it.
Talk about letting other people borrow our things.
Do some yoga or calming breathing exercises. Here are some examples - there are more on the mindfulness link on our class page.
Complete an all about me poem.
Children to make a card to someone that is special to them and write a thank you inside.
Maybe it could be thanking someone for being a good friend, or a family member for a Easter gift or a memory of a nice day out which they hope to do once the lockdown is lifted.
Could you post it on your daily exercise? I'm sure it will really brighten someones day.
The plan was to create a 'we all fit together' jiqsaw display to display in our class room but I thought you could try to do this at home and make a family jigsaw instead. Design a piece for each member of your family, or maybe they would like to get involved and make a piece for themselves.
Talk about uniqueness and what makes us all special.
Children to make a I love me tree (as pictured below) with a reason they love themselves for every leaf.
