Easter activities
Hello Chestnuts
Here are some ideas that you might want to try over the next two weeks to keep you busy. They are only ideas, you do not have to do them so don't worry if you don't have the equipment/ingredients etc. The main aim is for you to have fun!

A great idea for when you're out for a walk - alphabet hunt! Rather than hunting for eggs you need to find something that begins with A. You might see an apple tree, for example. Then find something beginning with B. You might then see a bus. Keep going until you have found something for all the letters, if you can. Take a pencil and paper with you to write down what you find.
You can also try a senses walk. What can you see? What can you hear? What can you smell? What can you touch?
You could do a bug hunt. How many different bugs can you find? Remember to treat them gently and always put them back where you found them.
You could try a bird watch. Either from your window or your garden, watch how many different kids of birds you see and make a list. This website will give you more information: https://www.bto.org/our-science/projects/gbw/join-gbw

Writing
Can you write the Easter story or a letter to a family member. Perhaps you could write a diary about what you have done over the Easter period.
We hope you have a lovely Easter. We're thinking of you and can't wait to see you soon. Remember to stay safe and wash your hands.
Miss Nash, Mrs Tasker and Miss Boley.
