Coronavirus Update

Support if you are feeling anxious or worried in the lockdown

Updated 21st April 2020

The school is currently closed for most pupils. We are open for children whose parents are key workers and a small number of other children. We will contact you directly if your child is able to attend school.

We are providing learning on your child's class page. Your child's teacher will contact you every week to keep in contact.

We are offering a free meal box to be collected on a Tuesday each week. If you would like a box but have not been contacted by the school, please ring the school office.

As yet, there is no date for the school to re-open. We will contact you as and when this situation changes.

Remember to follow the government advice for keeping safe:

  • Stay at home
  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home
  • Stay 2 metres away from other people
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus, everyone needs to wash their hands for 20 seconds using warm water and soap. This should be done regularly, including every time you enter a new building.

You should also avoid touching your face. You should catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue and dispose of it in a bin.

The school is now closed due to the risks associated with Covid-19. We are open ONLY for children of identified key workers or are classified as vulnerable and who are pre-booked into school. Every class has lessons set on the class pages (Children - Class pages) which everyone should access. Our latest Newsletter has been published which contains useful hints and tips for teaching your children at home and important information about the school.
