Churchfield Voices
Churchfield Voices is the school choir of Churchfield Church School. Its members are taken from Years 4, 5 and 6 and numbers have grown from twenty a year ago to just over fifty currently on roll.
We rehearse each Tuesday from 3.30-4.30pm and are building an extremely varied repertoire; from folk to gospel, jazz to rock and roll, pop to religious music-Voices is adept at using different performance styles to suit the music and the occasion!
Since the choir’s formation, we have taken part in a wide range of concerts and performances, including formal Church Services, the Highbridge Festival of the Arts(where we won five Gold’s and one silver). concerts for a local visually impaired group and residential home for the elderly, a Somerset Music Spectacular, a Concerts at Well Cathedral for all the schools in the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust and guest appearances at concerts with King Alfred’s Concert Band and many school concerts.
